In blazing light you grasp new freedom found,
Now steady spirit finding tasting rest.
You walk away from all that which has bound,
But still the same old voices cry possessed.
In candle light you sit and weep and wait,
Stinging salt meets fragrant oil, out poured
Patched up Heart, words wasted come too late, and,
Weighted soul in darkness whispers whore.
In morning light you flee with fleeting feet,
Breathless voice, eyes strong with burning fire,
Salvation joy awaiting those you meet,
Yet in return those men will call you liar.
In glorious light we now can name you sister,
Ringing voice no longer bound to whisper.
